Love cozy and comfy restaurants? Don't search farther come to Cluckers Wood Roasted where one can sip juice and eat appetisers while tapping on Lappy for work. Interiors had Wooden settings with greenery every corner of the restaurant stepped in. Even the bathroom had plant pots which gave cute effect. There were bulb lights hanging and also cute quotes which are perfect for grammable pictures. Kitchen decors like Spoons and Spatulas hung around the walls. Interiors were specially curated by the owner's Wife were given special attention to every details hung. Cluckers Wood Roasted is owned MRS & MR. Bassam Silwady, originated from palestine, lived most of their lives in Canada, migrated to Dubai to make their Dream Passion come true. These elderly parents are very social and humble to each and every client/ customers treating them like their own Extended Family. Each dish in the menu are designed by the owners themselves where every spices added be it in Mains, Starters, Soups and even dips are their very own cultivated by the many years of taste inhibited. As the name suggested every meat are baked into a big cellar Oven where chunks of wood are chucked in. So one would ask what this woode roasted chicken is all about?? Roasting means cooking food in an insulated box over a set temperature. This box utilises the hot air inside the box and cooks the meat till perfection ensuring the meat juices don't get dried up in the process. The original version consisted of a chicken cooked in charcoal but the preparation has evolved and marinated meat is now roasted in the heat of the coals of a special oven called a rotombo which rotates the bird on its own axis, consistently receiving heat from the coals. The oven can be operated using coal, gas, or wood, with the more traditional wood being from the Prosopis pallida tree. Technique is the juices of the meat are intact and not dried up unlike in Grilling. Juicer the meat the tastier. All the Chicken, Lamb and Beef are marinated overnight and roasted fresh in the morning. Now lets talk about the food served. SOUP

Smoked Wheat Soup - Wood roasted chicken pieces are served in a thick smoked wheat soup garnished by fresh thyme leaves came along with Croutons. Loved the smoky flavoured wheat which were so fresh yet healthy and diet conscious. Must try soup which i believe is not served in any of Dubai restaurants. Wholesome soup. SALADS

Wood Roasted Eggplant Salad - Served in a Mason jar had layers of basic veggies consisted of lettuce, spring onion, tomatoes, cucumber, fresh herbs topped with a layer of Walnuts and roasted eggplant cubes came along with Caper Sauce. Each of the veggies were diced into small cubes which makes the chewing process easier and yet the crunchiness is not sold out in the process. Loved this Salad where walnuts and eggplants are my weakness. Healthy and fresh ingredients to be noted. MAINS ChickeBalls n Meat - These meat balls consisted of chicken mince, rice noodles, herbs and broccoli with melting cheese in between. Healthy version meatballs and oozy cheese with all the right flavours tucked into a ball cannot get better then this. Definitely recreating this version of meatballs for my ramadan recipe snack bites. Wood Roasted Rosto Beef - Rosto beef lying on a bed of mushroom or black pepper sauce served in a sizzling pan. Medium sized thin beef slices covered in the sauce can be mistaken as potato slices. Gravy was so yummy and spicy (not very spicy) served with choice of rice, french fries or steamed vegetables. Clucker's Wood Roasted Combo meal - Their famous and fast moving menu is the wood roasted whole chicken which comes in lamb ribs, chicken thighs and chicken wings. Served with crisp garden salad, fresh fruit salad, Rice or French fries and three sauces like the red sauce, garlic sauce and tamarind sauce. These sauces are specially created by the owner himself and trust me these dips are one of the best and freshest ingredients used. Wood roasted be it chicken or lamb ribs and chicken wings are juicy, tender and flavoursome. Fruit Salad had twisty flavour which was yummy and Garden Salad with the basic veggies gives a healthy kick where such combos are not available in the whole of dubai. JUICE

Strawberry Juice - Served in a cute glass animated penguin bottle such a refreshing strawberry drink blended so well with a frothy finish on top. On-the-go these are just perfect for a quick thirst quench. DESSERTS Blueberry Cheesecake - Wow was just outstanding. Served in cute square shaped small glass boxes wherein the layers of the cheesecake are transparent. Perfectly layered and menu again designed by the owner just is out of proportion. Flavour and taste so relishing and lip-smacking kick cheesey cakeilicious. A thorough experience of woody roasty feel that still lingers all the warmth poured and food served in a cute and cozy presentation just makes the APPETITE full. Also open for delivery.
